Important Note on Copper Oxidation:
Copper products naturally oxidize over time when exposed to hands, heat, moisture, water, food, or air. This is a normal characteristic of pure copper and not a defect.
Maintenance Instructions:
After each use, scrub with vinegar and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry with a clean cloth.
If the mug loses its brightness over time, simply dip a clean cloth or ball in vinegar and gently scrub—it will shine like new.
During this cleaning process, the vinegar may turn slightly green. This is a normal reaction and indicates the presence of copper salts (verdigris), which is harmless.
