How to Use:

Testing a Trailer (or RV):

  1. Connect the 7-hole plug of the trailer to the tester.

  2. Press the yellow button on the side of the tester.

  3. LED Pinout Guide:

    • PIN 1 (Yellow Wire): Left-hand Direction Indicator

    • PIN 2 (Blue Wire): Rear Fog Lamps

    • PIN 3 (White Wire): Earth Return

    • PIN 4 (Green Wire): Right-hand Direction Indicator

    • PIN 5 (Brown Wire): Right-hand Tail & Number Plate Lamp

    • PIN 6 (Red Wire): Stop Lamp

    • PIN 7 (Black Wire): Left-hand Tail & Number Plate Lamp

  4. If the LEDs are not lit, the line connection is incorrect.

Testing a Car (Vehicle Side):

  1. Connect the tester to the car's 7-pin outlet.

  2. Press the yellow button on the tester.

  3. If all LEDs light up, the line is normal.

  4. To test specific functions (e.g., left turn signal, right turn signal, fog lights), activate those functions on your car and check the corresponding LED on the tester. If the LED remains off, that specific line is damaged or disconnected.


Troubleshooting Guide (Ensure the yellow button is pressed during testing):

  • 1. Some LEDs are not lit: The line is damaged, the bulb is broken, or there is a bad contact.

  • 2. All LEDs are not bright: The ground wire is damaged, or all bulbs are broken. Please check the power supply.

  • 3. One or more lights are weak or flashing: The line is damaged, or the plug has poor contact due to foreign objects.

  • 4. All LEDs are weak or flashing: The ground wire is damaged. Please check the power supply.

  • 5. The trailer light does not light, but the tester's LED is on: The trailer line is short-circuited and the fuse may burn out.
